Japanese esports organisation REJECT has renewed its sponsorship partnership with Rohto Pharmaceutical Co. for 2026, the team confirmed on 11 June 2026. The deal extends a relationship first struck at REJECT’s founding in April 2023, keeping one of Japan’s largest healthcare brands behind the organisation’s competitive activities across multiple titles.

A Deal Dating Back to REJECT’s Founding
The partnership was first established in April 2023, when REJECT launched, and the renewal carries it forward to cover the organisation’s competitive esports activities across its various titles. REJECT has fielded teams in titles including League of Legends, VALORANT and fighting game circuits, and Rohto’s backing spans that competitive programme rather than a single game. The original agreement also marked Rohto’s entry into Japanese esports sponsorship, making the renewal a continuation of one of the brand’s longer-running commitments to the scene.
Rohto’s Place in Esports
Rohto Pharmaceutical is one of Japan’s leading healthcare brands and its biggest over-the-counter eye-care name, with a global presence spanning 130 countries. That makes it one of the relatively few traditional pharmaceutical companies to maintain a sustained foothold in esports, a position it first took with REJECT in 2023 and has now extended again.
Financial terms of the renewed agreement were not disclosed, but the deal keeps Rohto behind REJECT’s multi-title roster through 2026 as the organisation heads into the second half of its competitive year.
