What Is the 2025 Twitch Recap?

Every December, platforms roll out their yearly summaries, with Spotify Wrapped setting the trend years ago. Twitch has followed suit with its own Recap, breaking down your viewing habits, top streamers, favourite categories, and how active you were in chat.

The 2025 edition highlights a massive year for the platform. Twitch revealed that more than 45 billion messages were sent in chat across 2025, and Just Chatting once again claimed the top spot as the most popular category. Newcomers like PEAK, Marvel Rivals, and Battlefield 6 also made a big splash as some of the most-watched new releases.

How to Get Your 2025 Twitch Recap

Getting your Twitch Recap only takes a moment. Here is what you need to do:

1. Head to the Twitch Recap Website

Go to the official Twitch Annual Recap page at twitch.tv/annual-recap.

2. Sign in to Your Twitch Account

You must be logged in so Twitch can generate your personalised stats.

3. Choose Your Recap Type

You can pick from three options:

• Viewer Recap for your personal watch history
• Creator Recap for streamers
• Community Recap to see how the platform performed overall

Once selected, Twitch will generate your recap in seconds. You can then download the card or share it directly online.

Do You Qualify for a Viewer or Creator Recap?

Not everyone will receive a personal recap. According to Twitch, you must have:

• Watched at least 10 hours of streams, or
• Streamed at least 10 hours

between 31 October 2024 and 31 October 2025.

Anyone below that threshold will still have access to the Community Recap, but your Viewer or Creator Recap will not be available.

No bad deed goes unpunished on Jan. 10, 2024, when Marvel Studios’ “Echo” launches on Disney+.

The five-episode streaming event spotlights Maya Lopez (Alaqua Cox) as she is pursued by Wilson Fisk’s (Vincent D’Onofrio) criminal empire. When the journey brings her home, she must confront her own family and legacy. All five episodes will stream on Jan. 10. This marks the first Marvel Studios series to drop all entirely bingeable episodes at once.

“Echo” also stars Chaske Spencer (“Wild Indian,” “The English”), Graham Greene (“1883,” “Goliath”), Tantoo Cardinal (“Killers of the Flower Moon,” “Stumptown”), Devery Jacobs (FX’s “Reservation Dogs,” “American Gods”), Zahn McClarnon (“Dark Winds,” FX’s “Reservation Dogs”), Cody Lightning (“Hey, Viktor!” “Four Sheets to the Wind”) and Vincent D’Onofrio (“Hawkeye,” “Godfather of Harlem”).

Shudder released today the premiere date, trailer for the fourth season of Creepshow, the hit horror anthology series executive produced by showrunner Greg Nicotero.

Creepshow season four will debut on Shudder, AMC+ and AMC on Friday, October 13th, 2023 with a six-episode binge premiere on Shudder and AMC+ and new episodes airing weekly on AMC linear.

Disney+ has revealed the official trailer for the new Original series ‘The Muppets Mayhem’, starring Lilly Singh, Tahj Mowry, Saara Chaudry and The Electric Mayhem Band.

‘The Muppets Mayhem’ follows The Electric Mayhem Band, Dr. Teeth on vocals and keyboards, Animal on drums, Floyd Pepper on vocals and bass, Janice on vocals and lead guitar, Zoot on saxophone and Lips on trumpet, on an epic, music-filled journey to record their first-ever studio album. With the help of a driven young music executive, Nora Singh (Singh), the old-school Muppet band comes face-to-face with the current-day music scene as they try to finally record their first studio album.

Joining the previously announced recurring guest star Anders Holm and The Electric Mayhem Band on their journey is an exciting roster of guest talent.

Based on characters created by Jim Henson, the Disney+ Original series from Disney Branded Television is produced by ABC Signature and The Muppets Studio. The project was developed and written by executive producers Adam F. Goldberg (‘The Goldbergs’), Bill Barretta (‘The Muppets’, ‘Muppets Haunted Mansion’) and co-executive producer Jeff Yorkes.

Michael Bostick, Kris Eber and The Muppets Studio’s David Lightbody and Leigh Slaughter also serve as executive producers. Original music by executive music producer and Songwriter Hall of Fame inductee Linda Perry.

‘The Muppets Mayhem’ soundtrack will be available on streaming platforms beginning May 10, 2023 and the band’s debut album, ‘The Electric Mayhem’, is set for release on vinyl on May 12, 2023.

The musical comedy series premieres with all episodes on May 10 2023, only on Disney+.

A genre defining cinematic video game from Naughty Dog has been adapted in to a gripping series; The Last of Us.

From the beginning of a global pandemic to the survival of main characters, Joel (Pedro Pascal) and Ellie (Bella Ramsey) the Warner Bros. series goes further in depth than the game was able to do with both the protagonists backgrounds, loves and losses as well as iconic NPCs, Tess, Frank, Bill and more.

The series also takes us further back to how it all began. A fungal infection that had only previously been a killer in the insect world, has mutated to humans.

Called Ophiocordyceps, the fungus is spread in two ways.

From a bite of an infected or by inhaling it’s spores.

Just as it does with critters it eats the person from inside, growing internally, consuming and replacing all soft organs turning the infected in to zombies.

The fungus’ main goal is to reproduce to a new host and controls its human body with feral ferocity in its search for a fresh human.

Players of 2013’s The Last of Us video game, exclusive to PlayStation, will recognise iconic moments and scenes recreated for live action.

The Last of Us series is not another zombie story. It’s something very different, and with recent worldwide events also has an element of reality.

Myself a fan of both games, I watched the series with a somewhat critical view., and loved it.

Whether you played the game, a fan of the game or neither The Last of Us is one of the best series to stream right now on HBO.

Disney+ has released the new trailer for the upcoming Season 3 of “Star Wars: The Mandalorian” during halftime of the NFL Super Wild Card matchup between the Dallas Cowboys and Tampa Bay Buccaneers, simulcast on ABC, ESPN and ESPN+.

The journeys of the Mandalorian through the Star Wars galaxy continue. Once a lone bounty hunter, Din Djarin has reunited with Grogu. Meanwhile, the New Republic struggles to lead the galaxy away from its dark history. The Mandalorian will cross paths with old allies and make new enemies as he and Grogu continue their journey together.

The series stars Pedro Pascal, Katee Sackhoff, Carl Weathers, Amy Sedaris, Emily Swallow and Giancarlo Esposito.

The directors of the eight-episode Season 3 include Rick Famuyiwa, Rachel Morrison, Lee Isaac Chung, Carl Weathers, Peter Ramsey and Bryce Dallas Howard.

What happens when you put a bunch of people on a island, inviting them to an exclusive restaurant experience?

Oh yeah, and did I forget to mention the head chef is also crazy, having recruited a team of brainwashed workers to support him too?

Mark Mylod’s The Menu leaves you guessing for quite some time as to what shock factor or disturbing piece of information will be revealed to give the film its thriller / horror name. Although it leaves you with this uneasy feeling for quite some time, its not until stalker photographs of each individual attendee end up being laser printed on their tortillas that things start to heat up, literally.

Yes, you read that correctly.

The first ‘wtf’ moment comes about 40 minutes into the film and leaves you wanting to know more when the film refuses to give it to you, putting you in the shoes of its attendees and trying to convince yourself its either ‘theatre’ or these people need to gap it as soon as possible.

Ralph Fiennes, Nicholas Hoult and Anya Taylor-Joy lead the cast of well known actors, with even supporting actors having familiar faces. Clearly the source material attracted the pool of actors, jumping on board the thrill of taking its audience down eccentric and unique storytelling.

Although, The Menu leaves you questioning it’s ‘big reveal’ for quite sometime, I do wonder if it relied too heavily on this in order to keep viewers on board throughout the film.

A part from questions you need to know the answer to, the film doesn’t have a lot of substance to fall back on, making you question whether or not it’s worth a higher rating or not.

WWE just announced that The O2 in London will host Money In The Bank on Saturday, July 1st, 2023.

Money In The Bank marks the first WWE Premium Live Event to be held in London in over two decades.

Money In The Bank will feature WWE’s biggest Superstars and will also bring the Money In The Bank ladder matches to the UK for the first time in history, with each winner receiving a briefcase containing a contract for a championship match at a time and place of their choosing anytime within the next year.

“The O2 is one of the world’s premier venues and the perfect home for Money In The Bank. We are excited to bring one of our ‘Big 5’ events to the UK and look forward to welcoming the WWE Universe to London on July 1,” said Dan Ventrelle, EVP, Talent at WWE.

“We are honoured to be hosting the first ever Money In The Bank event taking place in the UK here at The O2,” said Christian D’Acuña, Senior Programming Director at The O2. “We’re looking forward to welcoming back WWE fans to The O2 this summer for an unforgettable night with some of WWE’s biggest Superstars.”

The announcement follows the huge success of Cardiff’s Clash At The Castle in September 2022, the first major WWE stadium show to be held in the UK since 1992.

Clash At The Castle broke numerous records at the time including becoming the most-watched international premium live event in WWE history, with the largest European gate ever and the best-selling merchandise for a non-WrestleMania event.
