Singer, songwriter and actress Sabrina Carpenter releases her highly anticipated new studio album, Singular: Act II, via Hollywood Records, today.

The collection of songs were created by Sabrina Carpenter with Warren “Oak” Felder (Alessia Cara, Kehlani, Demi Lovato), Paul Phamous (Frank Ocean, Lennon Stella, Nick Jonas), Johan Carlsson (Charlie Puth, Ariana Grande) and Ross Golan (Pink, Luis Fonsi). Act II is the follow up to her acclaimed third studio album, Singular: Act I, which has clocked almost 300 million cumulative streams and incited widespread taste maker applause.

Sabrina said on dividing her album into two parts, “I split up the acts to show two different ways of being confident,” she explains. “Act II shows the vulnerable side of confidence; it’s more open and raw. There’s an interesting range in terms of music and messaging. None of the songs sound alike.”

Singular: Act II features previously released tracks “Pushing 20,” the highly praised “Exhale”, “In My Bed” and newly released “I’m Fakin”.

Sabrina was also featured on the Alan Walker global smash “On My Way”.  The track has accumulated over 146 million Spotify streams and over 168 million YouTube / Vevo views.

Sabrina recently appeared on Good Morning America’s Summer Concert Series, live from Central Park on July 5th. The singer performed singles “On My Way”, “Sue Me” and “In My Bed”.

In between recording music, Sabrina took on her first starring film role in The Short History of The Long Road, which premiered at The Tribeca Film Festival to rave reviews. She will also be seen in the upcoming Netflix movies Tall Girl and Work It, which she also serves as executive producer.

Fresh off the live performance debut of singer / songwriter Sabrina Carpenter’s new single Almost Love this weekend, the track is now available at all digital and streaming providers. The song’s lyric video is also available worldwide (above). Produced by Stargate, Carpenter co-wrote Almost Love alongside Mikkel Eriksen, Nate Campany and Steph Jones.

Almost Love is the first single off Carpenter’s highly-anticipated third studio album Singular, coming later this year. The album has been two years in the making for the rising pop powerhouse and her first album release since 2016’s EVOLution, which spurred two U.S. headline tours.

I wrote Almost Love with Stargate earlier this year. It’s the first song off of my new album, Singular, that comes out this winter. I’m so excited for this to finally be out because I feel like it begins a new era for me sonically and visually,” says Carpenter of the single’s significance. “There was a new tenacity that I found through the writing process which became the foundation for the album.”

The song’s live performance debut took place this past Saturday at iHeartRadio’s KIIS FM Wango Tango in Los Angeles – the performance also aired nationally on Freeform’s national broadcast of the show on Sunday night.

Earlier this year, Carpenter co-wrote and released “Alien” with UK DJ / producer / songwriter Jonas Blue. The song has since amassed nearly 43 million global combined streams since its release and became the #1 Breakout Song on the Billboard Club chart.

Today global hit-makers Sabrina Carpenter and multi-platinum selling UK DJ / producer / songwriter Jonas Blue released their new single Alien on Hollywood Records. 

The track, co-written by Carpenter, Blue and Janee “Jin Jin” Bennett, and produced, arranged, recorded and mixed by Blue, is now available via all digital platforms.

Alien marks the first collaboration between the two rising pop powerhouse talents. “Over a year ago I tweeted Jonas about how much I loved a song of his and he dm’ed me .. and now here we are,” Carpenter says of the song’s origin. “We wrote it about how alienating it can feel to be trapped in your own emotions. Lyrically, it’s really inspired by the words we keep in our heads when a relationship is unclear.”

“It was such a pleasure to work with the amazingly talented Sabrina on this song, what a pro! We went in the studio with a completely blank canvas along with a songwriter from London named Jin Jin, and came up with this cool concept of Alien,” Jonas adds. “It’s a love song but it goes deep and takes you on a metaphorical journey. The music flowed really easily and I managed to fuse some different vibes in there along with the trademark JB sounds.”

The track’s official music video, recently shot in London, will have its worldwide premiere later this month.
