Raidiant has unveiled Rally Point, a brand-new women’s tournament and community initiative for Rainbow Six Siege, set to kick off on 19 September. The competition will run through to 12 December, offering players the chance to compete, connect, and climb the ranks in a supportive and inclusive environment.

The tournament will feature a total prize pool of $10,000 USD (around £7,500), with $7,500 split among the finalists and $2,500 awarded to the top Rally Cup squads. Registration is already open and will remain available until 10 November.

Rally Point is open to women solo players aged 18 and above who live in the US or Canada. Alongside the competitive action, Raidiant has also launched a Rally Point Discord server, which welcomes women and allies who share the organiser’s vision of uplifting women in esports.

A Platform for Growth and Representation

Founded in 2021 by retired Counter-Strike pro Heather “sapphiRe” Garozzo, Raidiant has quickly established itself as a key organiser in women’s esports. The company has previously delivered competitions across titles like Overwatch, Rocket League, and VALORANT, and just last month it announced the Raidiant Invitational Brings Women’s Fortnite Tournament to NA and EU.

How Rally Point Works

The competition kicks off on 19 September, with weekly Game Nights giving solo players a chance to meet, play, and build teams. Three Rally Cups are also scheduled for 4 October, 25 October, and 15 November.

From there, the top ten players on the leaderboard will qualify for the live Finals on 12 December, where the remaining prize pool will be on the line. Matches will be streamed for fans to follow, shining a spotlight on emerging talent in the Rainbow Six Siege women’s scene.

With Rally Point, Raidiant is continuing its mission to amplify women in esports, creating pathways for competitive growth while building a strong, supportive community around Rainbow Six Siege.

Luminosity Gaming, one of North America’s most recognisable esports names, is being sold. The organisation is set to be acquired by Vertiqal Studios, a gaming and lifestyle company, in a deal worth around C$900,000 (~US$645,000). The acquisition, which also includes Enthusiast Gaming’s YouTube network Omnia, is expected to close on September 5th, 2025.

For Vertiqal Studios, this move is all about scale. The company already has a strong presence on platforms like TikTok and Snapchat, but with Luminosity and Omnia onboard, it’s expanding its reach across Twitch, YouTube, and beyond. Vertiqal’s CEO Jon Dwyer said the deal was more than just adding brands, it’s about combining audiences, sales networks, and cross-platform capabilities to create a much bigger digital advertising ecosystem.

The End of an Era With Enthusiast Gaming

This acquisition also signals the end of Luminosity’s run under Enthusiast Gaming. The Canadian holding company had owned the org since 2019, but its CEO made it clear earlier this year that Luminosity wasn’t part of its long-term future. Instead, Enthusiast will now turn its focus to publications like Pocket Gamer and Icy Veins.

Luminosity’s Legacy

Founded in 2015, Luminosity Gaming quickly became a household name in esports. The org first broke through in CS:GO, signing the Brazilian roster led by Gabriel “FalleN” Toledo and featuring stars like coldzera, fer, TACO, and fnx. That squad etched their names into history by winning MLG Columbus 2016, the first-ever Counter-Strike Major held on American soil.

While the roster left for SK Gaming soon after and went on to win back-to-back Majors, Luminosity’s place in esports history was already secured. The organisation stuck with the Brazilian scene until 2019, but never managed to reach the same heights again.

Outside of CS, Luminosity has remained active across multiple titles. The org currently competes in Apex Legends, League of Legends, and PUBG, and it also represents fighting game legend Dominique “SonicFox” McLean. In the past, it has also fielded squads in Call of Duty, Super Smash Bros., and Rainbow Six.

What Happens Next?

With Vertiqal Studios now steering the ship, questions remain over Luminosity’s competitive future. The organisation pulled out of Rainbow Six earlier this year after its cosmetics were removed from the in-game store, and its roster went on to play as “Orgless” in the North America League.

Given Vertiqal’s focus on digital content and platforms, it’s still unclear whether Luminosity will stay committed to esports in the long run or transition more into content creation and community building.

Either way, the acquisition is a big moment, both for Vertiqal Studios’ growth strategy and for Luminosity Gaming as it enters a brand new chapter in its storied history.

Team Secret have pulled off a dream run at the Rainbow Six Siege X event in the 2025 Esports World Cup, sweeping G2 Esports 3–0 in a grand final that had everything, tense moments, comeback plays, and a statement win that silenced any doubters.

The mixed-European roster now walk away with the championship title, $750,000 in prize money, and 1,000 Club Championship points, not to mention bragging rights as the first European side to claim an international Siege title since Team BDS last year.

From Day One Upset to Perfect Run

Secret’s journey began with a shocker. Facing Team Falcons in a best-of-one, they edged out an 8–6 overtime win that sent the Falcons spiralling into an early exit. From there, they made light work of w7m esports, dismantling them 7–2 to secure a spot in the playoffs.

Once in the knockout stage, Secret didn’t slow down, dispatching Weibo Gaming and Spacestation Gaming without dropping a map. By the time they reached the grand final, their record was spotless.

G2 Arrive as Favourites, But Fall Short

On the other side of the bracket, G2 had battled through a tougher path, taking down FURIA and FaZe Clan, both Six Invitational champions, to book their place in the final. They also had history on their side, winning seven of their last eight encounters against Secret.

But when it mattered most, that edge evaporated.

Map one on Kafe Dostoyevsky ended 7–4 to Secret, with G2 struggling to adapt to the relentless pressure. Clubhouse told a similar story, another 7–4 win for Secret, who punished every G2 misstep.

The third map, Nighthaven Labs, was where G2 finally looked ready to mount a comeback. Up 6–3, they were poised to take the series to a fourth map. But Secret had other plans, clawing back round after round before snatching it 8–7 in overtime.

It was a finish worthy of a final, even if the scoreline reads like a blowout.

Polish star Adrian “Adrian” Tryka took home the SONY MVP award, pocketing an extra $10,000 for his stellar performance.
