Five-time GRAMMY Award winning Darkroom / Interscope Records artist Billie Eilish has today revealed the official music video for ‘No Time To Die,’ the original song written for the 25th James Bond motion picture, No Time To Die.

Directed by Daniel Kleinman, the visual interweaves footage of Billie Eilish with scenes taken from the highly anticipated upcoming James Bond motion picture. Watch above .

The song is out via Darkroom / Interscope Records and was produced by Billie’s brother; fellow multi GRAMMY® Award winning FINNEAS alongside Stephen Lipson, with orchestral arrangements by Hans Zimmer and Matt Dunkley, and guitar from Johnny Marr. 18-year-old Eilish is officially the youngest artist in history to both write and record a James Bond theme song.

Speaking on Billie Eilish and FINNEAS’ involvement in the film’s title track, No Time To Die producers Michael G Wilson and Barbara Broccoli revealed “Billie and Finneas have written an incredibly powerful and moving song for No Time To Die, which has been impeccably crafted to work within the emotional story of the film.”

Billie Eilish said, “It feels crazy to be a part of this in every way. To be able to score the theme song to a film that is part of such a legendary series is a huge honor.”

FINNEAS adds, “writing the theme song for a Bond film is something we’ve been dreaming about doing our entire lives. There is no more iconic pairing of music and cinema than the likes of Goldfinger and Live and Let Die. We feel so so lucky to play a small role in such a legendary franchise, long live 007.”

The film’s director Cary Joji Fukunaga shared, “there are chosen few who record a Bond theme.  I am a huge fan of Billie and Finneas.  Their creative integrity and talent are second to none.”

In No Time To Die, Bond has left active service and is enjoying a tranquil life in Jamaica. His peace is short-lived when his old friend Felix Leiter from the CIA turns up asking for help. The mission to rescue a kidnapped scientist turns out to be far more treacherous than expected, leading Bond onto the trail of a mysterious villain armed with dangerous new technology.

No Time To Die will be released in cinemas globally from November 12 in the U.K. through Universal Pictures International and in the U.S on November 20, from MGM via their United Artists Releasing banner.

Billie Eilish and FINNEAS will also be joining Daniel Craig for James Bond Day with a very special interview and performance on NBC’s The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Monday, October 5, 2020.

EON Productions, Metro Goldwyn Mayer Studios (MGM), and Universal Pictures International today announced that Billie Eilish will sing the theme song for the 25th James Bond film, No Time To Die.

The song will be released on Darkroom / Interscope Records. No Time To Die is in theatres globally from 2 April 2020 in the U.K. through Universal Pictures International and in the U.S on April 10, from MGM via their United Artists Releasing banner.

The 18-year-old multi-platinum selling and GRAMMY Award nominated Billie Eilish has written the title song with her elder brother; fellow multi GRAMMY Award nominated FINNEAS. Billie Eilish is the youngest artist in history to write and record a James Bond theme song.

Music.Film Recordings has announced that the Netflix Original Series, The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance, will get a special album release on vinyl.

Fans of The Jim Henson Company’s fantasy series can purchase a 2-LP set in a gatefold jacket, which includes highlights from both the Volume 1 soundtrack, featuring music by composer Daniel Pemberton, and Volume 2 soundtrack with melodies by Pemberton and Samuel Sim, across four sides. The vinyl album is now available for pre-order and releases on February the 7th, 2020.

Critical reception for the series has been immensely positive, especially for the original music.  Consequence of Sound reviews how “Pemberton and Sim craft a dark, Celtic-inspired score that … fits the show’s more intricate emotional grace notes.” Collider adds how “composers Daniel Pemberton and Samuel Sim do a bang-up job of establishing atmosphere and mood in a dynamic way.”

Daniel Pemberton remarks how “one of the biggest challenges was trying to create themes that could all work together with one another across so many overlapping stories. So many different characters, places, emotions. It was important to have music that highlighted the differences but could also bring them together.”  He then continues, “The world Jim Henson created all that time ago feels unlike anything else and it has been such an honor to be a part of that story. Gear up, as Gears of War comes to vinyl for the first time ever. Laced Records has partnered with The Coalition and Xbox Game Studios to bring the magnificent Gears 5 soundtrack to vinyl.

Across 18 tracks, Game of Thrones and Iron Man composer Ramin Djawadi deftly blends a heavyweight Hollywood sound with impassioned melodies, bringing to life Kait’s journey across the icy wastes and dusty deserts of Gears 5. The soundtrack features a varied mixture of orchestral textures, huge-sounding percussion, and atmospheric electronic sounds.

Specially remastered for vinyl, the Gears 5 OST will be pressed to 180g heavyweight vinyl; the Standard Edition will feature traditional black discs, while the Limited Edition, exclusive to the Laced Records store, features transparent red and transparent orange discs. Both editions sport a deluxe gatefold sleeve featuring striking original artwork by UK based designer, Luke Preece.

Gears 5 enjoyed critical acclaim and incredible fan response in its release September 2019 with Xbox Game Pass for Console and PC, for purchase on the Microsoft Store, named “The total package” (IGN).The game’s emotional campaign features gut-wrenching twists and turns as Kait Diaz looks to uncover her connection to the enemy and discover the true danger to Sera – herself. There are two vinyl editions of the Borderlands 3 OST: fans can choose between the 17-track double LP package with two audiophiles’ heavyweight 180g discs (one Solid Red, the other Solid White) housed in a deluxe gatefold sleeve; or the 34-track Special Edition boasting four 180g discs (in light blue, dark green, red, and purple) each with a spined sleeve, all housed in a rigid board outer slipcase.

The music is a richly atmospheric fusion of ambient, blues, dubstep, electronica, and more, created by a seasoned composition team including Jesper Kyd (Assassin’s Creed, Hitman), Michael McCann (Deus Ex: Human Revolution, XCOM: Enemy Unknown), Finishing Move Inc (Crackdown 3, Halo Wars 2), Raison Varner (Borderlands series), Julian Peterson, and Mike Jones (Penn & Teller Musical Director). Universal Pictures announced to us here at STG that global music icon Taylor Swift and legendary composer Andrew Lloyd Webber have collaborated on a new, original song written for Universal Pictures’ film Cats, based on Lloyd Webber’s record-shattering stage musical.

The song, ‘Beautiful Ghosts,’ will feature in both the film and in the end credits.

In the film, the song is performed by Hayward, who stars in the role of Victoria. The version of the song performed by Swift, who plays Bombalurina in the film, will play over the end titles.

As part of the announcement, Universal today also released an exclusive, behind-the-scenes video documenting the creation and recording of the song and including an interview with Swift, Lloyd Webber and Hooper (watch above).

One of the longest-running shows in West End and Broadway history, the stage musical “Cats” includes some of Lloyd Webber’s most indelible songs, including ‘Memory.’ Lloyd Webber, Swift and the filmmakers were excited at the idea of introducing a new song for the film adaptation.

Lloyd Webber saw an opportunity to create a new signature song for Victoria, whose character has been expanded for the film. “When I first read the screenplay, the first thing I said was, ‘We have to have a song for Victoria,’” Lloyd Webber says. ‘Beautiful Ghosts,’ he says, is now, “an incredibly important and central part of the whole film.”

For director Tom Hooper, the song exceeded even his high expectations. “What I couldn’t believe was the extraordinary beauty of these lyrics that Taylor had written,” Hooper says. “It was as if someone had come into the film I was in the middle of making and … had reflected back to me a profound understanding of what we are trying to do with the movie. It was utterly thrilling.”

Cats, in New Zealand theatres December 26, 2019 is directed by Oscar winning filmmaker Tom Hooper (Les Misérables, The King’s Speech), and stars Swift, James Corden, Judi Dench, Jason Derulo, Idris Elba, Jennifer Hudson, Ian McKellen, Rebel Wilson and Royal Ballet principal dancer Francesca Hayward.

Riot Games today revealed True Damage, their next virtual band and League of Legends skin line (in-game, optional, cosmetic outfits), following up last year’s global musical sensation K/DA.

A collective of artists with their own unique musical and fashion styles, True Damage is made up of League of Legends’ champions Qiyana, Senna, Akali, Ekko, and Yasuo and will be available for purchase as a skin line for those champions on November 10th 2019.

The collective will perform in the Opening Ceremony presented by Mastercard at 1:00PM CET prior to the League of Legends World Championship at the AccorHotels Arena in Paris, France.

Special versions of skins called Prestige skins have been designed by Nicolas Ghesquière, Louis Vuitton’s Artistic Director of Women’s Collections, for two of the members of True Damage – Qiyana and Senna.

Qiyana’s Prestige Louis Vuitton skin will release on the same day as the True Damage skins’ release for all five champions, and Senna’s Prestige Louis Vuitton skin will be available in early 2020. Only available by playing games during the Worlds 2019 in-game event, Qiyana’s Prestige Louis Vuitton skin will be exclusively unlockable until November 25th 2019 at 7:00PM CET.

Louis Vuitton will also launch a capsule collection inspired by Qiyana and Senna’s Prestige skins, which will be revealed soon.

An all-star line up of Becky G, Keke Palmer, SOYEON of (G)I-DLE, DUCKWRTH, and Thutmose will bring True Damage to life as they represent each of the members to perform their single GIANTS at the League of Legends World Championship Finals.
