To celebrate the final day of E3, Opera today announced the launch of Opera GX for mobile, the world’s first mobile browser built specifically for gamers on the move.

Opera GX mobile version is packed with many of the great features that gamers currently enjoy with the hugely popular Opera GX desktop browser (Windows and macOS), which is already the preferred choice of browser for millions of gamers worldwide. These features include the latest gaming news, custom skins, unique navigation with haptic feedback, native ad blocker and more.

Opera GX is now the best set of browsers for gamers on the go and at home, using their mobile and desktop devices.

“We launched the desktop version of Opera GX during E3 2019. This year, with the event coming back, we have some good news for everyone who wants their smartphone browsing experience to match their gaming tastes,” said Maciej Kocemba, product director of Opera GX.

There is also the ability to sync mobile and desktop experiences through the Flow feature, enabling gamers to share walkthroughs, tutorials, and character builds between devices. On Easter Sunday, Italian tenor and global music icon Andrea Bocelli will give a solo performance at the historic Duomo, the cathedral of Milan, Italy, by invitation of the City and of the cathedral, and thanks to the hospitality of the Archpriest and the Veneranda Fabbrica del Duomo.

“On the day on which we celebrate the trust in a life that triumphs, I’m honored and happy to answer ‘Sì’ to the invitation of the City and the Duomo of Milan”. This is how Andrea Bocelli said ‘yes’ to the City of Milan in this dark time that has wounded all of Italy.

There will be no audience present, and strictly no access for the public (in compliance with government regulations on Covid-19), but the concert will be exclusively streamed live globally on the tenor’s YouTube channel, from 5am NZ Time (Monday, 13 April 2020), 6pm UK time, 10am PST, 1pm EST, uniting the world in the face of a global pandemic.

In a concert representing a message of love, healing and hope to Italy and the world, the Duomo,
a national and international landmark, currently closed to all, will open its doors exceptionally for Andrea Bocelli who will be accompanied only by the cathedral organist, Emanuele Vianelli, playing one of world’s largest pipe organs.  The carefully selected pieces, specially arranged for solo voice and organ for the occasion, will include the well-loved Ave Maria setting by Bach/Gounod and Mascagni’s Sancta Maria – uplifting sacred music repertoire on a day symbolic of the renewal of life.

The event is promoted by the City of Milan and the Veneranda Fabbrica del Duomo, produced by Sugar Music and Universal Music Group, thanks to the generous contribution of YouTube. Andrea Bocelli’s participation is entirely pro-bono (in collaboration with Almud and Maverick Management).

Bocelli, with the Foundation that carries his name, is currently involved in an emergency COVID-19 campaign. The Andrea Bocelli Foundation (ABF) has started a fundraiser to help hospitals purchase all the instrumentation and equipment necessary to protect their medical staff. Andrea Bocelli has teamed up with some of the hottest musical stars on the planet for his forthcoming album ‘Si’ – reuniting with his friend Ed Sheeran after their chart-topping ‘Perfect Symphony’ on a brand new song called ‘Amo Soltanto Te’ (written by Ed with lyrics by Tiziano Ferro) and joining with pop sensation Dua Lipa on the single ‘If Only’. Crossover superstar Josh Groban and classical soprano Aida Garifullina also duet with Bocelli on the record, which is released on Sugar / Decca on the 26th of December, 2018. It is his first album of new material in 14 years – 16 brand new songs which celebrate love, family, faith and hope.

At the centre of the new record is a spine-tingling duet between father-and-son, as 20 year-old Matteo Bocelli steps into the limelight to duet with Andrea on ‘Fall On Me’ – a beautifully poignant song which reflects the bond between parent and child. It will appear in the end credits of the hotly-anticipated new Disney film, The Nutcracker and The Four Realms, starring Keira Knightley, Mackenzie Foy, Helen Mirren and Morgan Freeman, to be released on November 2nd 2018. The single, which will be available in 7 different languages, will be released on Friday the 21st of September 2018, along with a stunning new music video which reveals never-before-seen photos of Andrea and Matteo from their family photo album.

Andrea explains how his voice compares with Matteo’s: “Technically they are very different, but there is one thing that makes them most similar: the attitude. That characteristic way of expressing yourself through your voice. This makes Matteo and I very similar. But that is something that you cannot learn, that cannot be taught. That is something you are born with.”

Andrea Bocelli, who turns 60 this Saturday (22nd of September 2018), has brought together family and friends for his new album. It was recorded at his home in Italy and produced by the legendary Bob Ezrin (Pink Floyd, Lou Reed, Alice Cooper, Deep Purple, Thirty Seconds To Mars, etc) and includes a song produced by Mauro Malavasi and another one by Andrea’s oldest friend, Pierpaolo Guerrini. As well as a duet with Matteo, Andrea’s other son, Amos Bocelli, performs piano on the acoustic version of the track ‘Sono Qui’ (I Am Here) and Ali di Libertà. There is also a song called ‘Vivo’, which is an emotional homage to his wife Veronica. ‘If Only’ (his duet with Dua Lipa) was co-written by Francesco Sartori and the late Lucio Quarantotto – who helped pen one of Bocelli’s biggest hits, ‘Con Te Partirò’ (Time To Say Goodbye), which was released over 20 years ago and has become of the classical best-selling singles of all time.

Andrea Bocelli says of the album: “I wanted to go back to my memories of being a young man, playing at a piano bar. Obviously since then, I’ve produced lots of albums, sung lots of covers, performed many other things. But at a certain point I said to myself: ‘Maybe the time has come to put my effort into finding new songs.’ Like starting all over again, as it were, in my career.”

Bocelli’s humble manner belies his international status as one of the world’s biggest classical stars – he’s sung for Popes, Presidents and royalty, performed in all the greatest concert halls and opera houses around the world, and sold 85 million records.
