Previously I had reviewed E-Blue mechanical keyboards and while all did what they claimed to do for a budget price the keys sounded alot like a typewriter hyped up on energy drink. Loud and overly enthusiastic.

Not so with this new model, it’s quieter with every click so you can be extra stealthy in your game’s room.

PowerPlay’s Mechanical-Sense Gaming Keyboard also has 25 dedicated keys for anti-ghosting and FN keys.

Yes, it’s basic – but overall it will do what any of the other bigger and more costly brands will – and this gaming keyboard comes in at just under $50 NZD.

E-Blue continue to bring near high quality PC gaming peripherals at a fraction of the cost of other suppliers.

Recently they released the EKM770, a mechanical gaming keyboard that looks as though it should be slated towards the more elite PC Gamers out there.

A hard plastic, silver brushed aluminum cased keyboard with dark red key and side lighting, the EKM770 however follows the same methods as we saw with the EKM757 RGB Keyboard we reviewed a couple of months back.

For the lighting effects the full keyboard uses a Function button (on the keyboard) for differing lighting effects, from wave to strobe or can be programmed to highlight only the keys you need for gaming.

There’s no need to download additional software, the programming is stored on the EKM770.

In all there’s eight differing lighting effects to be had.

But as was the only gripe I had with the EKM757, the mechanical switch on each key still sounds like a typewriter. They are loud, with every key-stroke.

Nonetheless the EKM770 is still a great contender for any gaming den or room and looks killer with its red illumination.

E-Blue set the game with their cost effective quality PC Gaming peripherals. The EKM770 being no exception.

From Asia to downunder, E-Blue, manufaturers of low cost premium PC gaming gear cover all of the bases.

Previously I have reviewed two of their newest entrants in to the esports, PC gaming realm, so to go full circle I’l cover of their FPS Gaming Mouse.

The Auroza model resonates with similarities to their EKM757 mechanical keyboard and EMP013 wireless charging RGB mousepad that I have already reviewed.

There is no fuss with the Auroza. It’s plug and play and off you go – no additional software required.

This is due the settings for your astounding 16.8 million colour effects / RGB lighting and multi-button customization being within the mouse itself via the OMRON micro switch

With 6 actual DPI settings at 8200 DPI, each are accessed at the push of the top button by the scrolling wheel you can set the speed and response on the fly and in-game.

The 8200 DPI is a five buttoned corded mouse again, you can opt to assign keys to your game on the fly programming them directly on the mouse without needing to pause and go into any Menu settings. And it is absolutely on mark. There is no lag, full responsiveness to make it a worthy weapon in your fight.

Apparently designed for FPS titles, I can see the 8200 DPI being used for any game including RPG.

And at well under $100 NZD it blows away any expectations.

Budgetly priced but not compromised on quality.

As the competition in the PC gear market ramps up with the explosion of esports and streaming, getting the tools to game is getting less and less expensive.

Asia’s E-Blue carry a range of PC gaming products, such as mouse pads, mice and mechanical keyboards. Thanks to Play distribution and E-Blue STG received one of their top shelf RGB full QWERTY gaming keyboards to try out.

E-Blue are a no fuss but most of the frills company when it comes to their products. The EKM757 RGB Mechanical Keyboard that we were given requires no setup, no software and works straight from the box.

Weighted and with a rubber base that will prevent the keyboard from sliding around during a fierce key mashing session, the EKM757 is also weighted.

Out of the box it will light up like a Xmas tree. There are five preset key only RGB options which will highlight the WASD and ARROW keys, then you have five full RGB options to illuminate all keys in a chaser, wave and more or simply have a static effect. These options are governed by a Function (FN) key on the keyboard itself and can be changed on the fly.

E-Blue knows that gamer like to customise their keys to their gameplaying, so they also give you the option of programming your own sets.

The keys themselves are ‘floating’ keys. Raised up from the keyboard to give a strong spring compression when pressed. My only gripe here is the noise of the keys, when typing out a sentence or three (or writing a review on the keyboard itself) it sounds a lot like a typewriter. A loud clunky typewriter.

Still, a small problem to bear when you factor in the cost of the EKM757 and what you can get from it.

The unit also has expandable feet at the bottom, but they flick outwards, not out sideways – so if you are a heavy typer or your adrenaline kicks in while playing you’re more than likely to place too much pressure and have the keyboard drop back down. I know most people lay their keyboard flat anyway. I do.

The EKM757 is not a poor gamers fancy keyboard. It is a legit piece of PC gaming gear with programmable options to suit your lighting needs and priced at around $60 – $80 NZD it’s a gotta have.

PC Gaming, you need the correct arsenal to be at your best.

And for those that are hardcore, they know that even though their finely honed skills and superhero like reflexes with their keyboard and mouse are only as good as their hardware.

From the components in their RIG or gaming laptop, through to the responsiveness and reliability of their peripherals. And to really get in to the zone, you also need lighting. vivid and deep RGB lighting.

E-Blue, a PC peripheral manufacturer with both PC Gaming and esports products hail from Asia but have made their mark throughout the U.S. and Canada and now, they are set to dominate downunder.

E-Blue and their New Zealand partner Play Distribution provided STG with some of their latest gaming gear, one of those being an RGB illuminated hard mousepad – with a difference.

The EMP013 pleasingly hugs the desk surface with it’s rubber base, effortlessly allows the mouse to glide on its traction rich surface and has a few illuminated RGB presets. There is no additional software required for the EMP013. This does mean that you cannot customize it to your liking and you are stuck with the 9 presets. But this is not a bad thing at all.

It’s wide footprint wont do too well on a smaller desk, admittedly, but bigger is always better. And we have all been there, playing a fierce bout on a MMORPG or FPS and your mouse runs out of mousepad as you slide it about.

Doned with mech like graphics (and weird phrases), the EMP013 is also a wireless smartdevice charger.

Yup. If your smartphone or tablet supports wireless charging, this mousepad will trickle charge it back to life.

Remember esports is not just PC. With many free-to-play Apps on both Apple store and Google Play that are MMO’s or online RPGS and more esports has a foothold for mobile devices. E-Blue know this, and have catered to both the PC and Mobile streamers and online gamers, ensuring that your smartdevice never runs out of juice.

In my test of it, it was only able to wirelessly charge a Samsung Galaxy S9, Note8 and iPhone X / 8 aswell as iPad Mini 4.

So, if you own a wireless charge capable – you are in for the win with the multifunctional EMP013 mousepad.

Even more amazingly is that the mousepad connects via USB 2.0, is low voltage yet manages to lightup like it’s more expensive competitors and charge select smartdevices all through a singular micro USB connector that plugs in to the top of the pad. There’s is also a spare USB 2.0 port to plug in a keyboard or mouse.

Also near the top you will find the power button – handy if this pad is plugged into a gaming laptop (saves your laptop battery) and the aforementioned RGB illumination preset soft button. Powering the EMP013 off allows you to still wirelessly charge.

Unlike it’s current market rivals the E-Blue EMP013 is not going to break the bank priced at around $40 – $70 depending on your country / region.

If you are that hardcore PC gamer or Mobile esports champ the E-Blue EMP013 is a must have weapon of choice.
