— PGL (@pglesports) March 9, 2026

The announcement confirms a new Tier 1 CS2 programme built around a structured calendar of elite tournaments and a financial framework designed to support professional teams and players. Across the two years, PGL plans to host at least six premier CS2 events annually, while distributing prize money, participation bonuses, and viewership incentives throughout the competitive circuit.

According to PGL, the initiative is aimed at creating greater stability in the rapidly expanding Counter-Strike esports landscape, allowing organisations to plan their rosters, partnerships, and long-term investments with more certainty.

PGL Announces Long-Term CS2 Tier 1 Programme

The programme introduces a guaranteed financial structure worth at least $11 million per year, which combines prize money, team rewards, and incentives tied to participation and audience engagement.

Of that yearly total, $6 million will be distributed based on competitive results across the six events, while an additional $5 million will support organisations through various revenue streams. This includes a $2.2 million invite bonus pool and a $2.8 million annual incentive tied to viewership performance.

PGL CEO Silviu Stroie described the programme as the organiser’s most ambitious commitment to Counter-Strike yet. Writing on social media, Stroie said the incentives are designed to attract the best teams and players while continuing to deliver major events for the global CS community.

Each event will also maintain PGL’s traditional tournament format, a structure widely recognised across the Counter-Strike scene for closely mirroring the format used in CS Majors.

Prize Money And Team Revenue Breakdown

The financial structure behind the CS2 Tier 1 programme is built around multiple revenue streams intended to reward both performance and participation.

Each year, $3 million will be allocated to players as prize money, with another $3 million distributed to teams through club rewards based on event placements.

Beyond tournament winnings, teams will also have access to additional revenue pools. These include invite bonuses tied to Valve Regional Standings, which reward the highest-ranked teams that accept tournament invitations. For four events per year, the invite bonus pool will be $400,000, while the remaining two events will feature $300,000 each.

Another key component is the annual $2.8 million viewership incentive. This pool rewards teams that generate the highest average cumulative viewership during events, with points awarded based on audience performance and the number of PGL tournaments attended.

According to PGL, this layered system ensures organisations benefit not only from winning events but also from consistency, participation, and fan engagement.

Player Hospitality And Tournament Operations

Alongside the financial incentives, PGL is expanding its hospitality programme for teams competing in the circuit.

The organiser will cover travel costs for up to eight team members per roster and provide accommodation in four-star hotels or higher, with single rooms for players. Teams will also receive access to dedicated practice rooms designed to replicate the on-stage competitive environment, featuring regularly updated PCs and professional peripherals.

Tournament scheduling will prioritise competitive integrity, limiting teams to a maximum of one best-of-three match per day while ensuring adequate preparation time between games.

The programme also includes opportunities for fan engagement at events, including merchandise sales and team activations, along with event credentials and ticket allocations for team staff and partners.

CS2 Tournament Schedule For 2027

PGL has confirmed six Tier 1 CS2 tournaments for the 2027 season, with several events taking place within the Schengen Zone.

The confirmed dates are:

Event 1: January 17–24 (Schengen)

Event 2: February 13–21 (Schengen)

Event 3: March 19–28 (Location TBD)

Event 4: April 16–25 (Location TBD)

Event 5: September 3–12 (Location TBD)

Event 6: October 8–17 (Location TBD)

Details on host cities will be revealed later. PGL has also invited cities interested in hosting future events to explore partnerships with the organiser.

Early Details For The 2028 CS2 Circuit

The momentum will continue into 2028 with another six planned tournaments. Only the first event currently has confirmed timing, scheduled for January 14–24 in the Schengen area, with the remaining dates and locations to be announced.

PGL has also indicated that additional Tier 1 events could potentially be added to the 2028 calendar as the competitive ecosystem continues to grow.

The long-term investment reinforces PGL’s position as one of Counter-Strike’s leading tournament organisers. In recent months, the company has secured partnerships such as a multi-year agreement with the Romanian city of Cluj-Napoca and a collaboration with ASUS ROG to supply hardware for its 2026 tournament season.

With a guaranteed calendar and one of the largest financial commitments currently announced for Counter-Strike 2 esports, the new programme signals a continued push to expand the global competitive circuit over the next several years.

ESL has officially confirmed the full list of teams invited to ESL Pro League Season 23, setting the stage for one of the biggest Counter-Strike events of the year. The tournament will run from March 1 to March 15, with online group stages leading into a live playoff event in Stockholm, Sweden.

A total prize pool of USD $1,000,000 is on the line, alongside valuable progress in the ESL Grand Slam race. However, the headline news comes from the top of the Valve Regional Standings, with both Team Vitality and Team Falcons turning down their invitations.

How ESL Pro League Season 23 Will Work

All 24 teams were invited based on the Valve Regional Standings as of January 5, 2026. The competition will begin with two online Swiss-style stages featuring 16 teams each.

Eight teams have been invited directly into Stage 2, while the remaining 16 teams will start their campaign in Stage 1. From there, the top eight teams in Stage 2 will advance to the playoffs, which will be played on LAN in front of a live audience in Stockholm.

The structure marks a continued shift towards online group play, with LAN competition reserved exclusively for the final playoff bracket this season.

Why Vitality And Falcons Declined Their Invitations

Reigning ESL Pro League Season 22 champions Team Vitality chose not to defend their title, while Team Falcons also declined their invite.

Community discussion and reporting suggest the decision is largely strategic. ESL Pro League Season 23 features online stages, which offer fewer Valve Regional Standings points compared to full LAN events. Several players and analysts have pointed out that attending upcoming PGL tournaments, including Cluj-Napoca, is more advantageous in terms of VRS value.

Burnout has also been mentioned as a factor, with teams facing an increasingly packed 2026 calendar. With the playoffs being the only LAN portion of EPL Season 23, some top organisations appear to be prioritising fully offline events ahead of the next Major cycle.

NIP And Passion UA Step In

With Vitality and Falcons declining, Ninjas in Pyjamas and Passion UA were next in line based on VRS rankings and have now been invited to the tournament.

As a result of these changes, Aurora and B8 will begin their runs in Stage 2 instead of Stage 1, giving them a shorter path to the playoffs.

FUT Replaces Lynn Vision After ESL Ruling

Another notable update sees FUT Esports replacing Lynn Vision following a disciplinary ruling.

Lynn Vision withdrew from ESL Pro League Season 22 after the deadline and has been banned from attending their next eligible Tier 1 VRS event. Because of this, ESL converted the Wildcard invite into a Global VRS invite, allowing FUT to take their place in Season 23.

Teams must submit their rosters by February 15, 2026. Tournament seeding will follow shortly after, with Stage 1 seeding taking place on February 16 and Stage 2 seeding on March 5.

To remain eligible, teams are required to keep a majority of their roster from the original VRS invite date, ensuring lineup stability heading into the event.

A Different Pro League, With Big Stakes

While the absence of Vitality and Falcons has sparked debate, ESL Pro League Season 23 still shapes up as a critical stop in the 2026 Counter-Strike calendar. With a million dollars on offer, Grand Slam implications, and a live playoff atmosphere in Stockholm, the tournament remains a major proving ground for both established giants and hungry challengers.

Stronger Integrity Rules for 2026

With online qualifiers becoming even more important next year, ESL is rolling out stricter integrity systems to ensure fair play across all EPT competitions.

Two cameras per player

One showing their entire play environment

This is intended to provide better visibility and prevent any off-screen interference.

Mandatory FACEIT Verification

All players must complete FACEIT Verification before their team is allowed to check in. Verification will apply to both global and regional qualifiers.

ESL says these changes are a direct response to community feedback, reinforcing that maintaining competitive integrity remains their top priority.

What’s Next

Sign-ups for all open qualifiers will be announced closer to each event date. ESL also confirmed that the updated ESL Pro Tour rulebook, reflecting these new integrity rules, will be published by the end of the year.

Teams and fans can stay updated by following ESLCS across social media or subscribing to the official EPT newsletter.

Valve have reportedly stepped up enforcement of their sponsorship rules for Counter-Strike 2 tournaments under the Valve Ranked Status (VRS) system. The move focuses on stricter compliance with the company’s Licensing Agreement, particularly the clause covering “IP Protection.”

The update was first reported by esports journalist Jeff “Mnmzzz” Mkaelovich on X, who stated that Valve are now “more willing than ever” to sanction or even revoke ranked status from tournaments that promote sites connected to CS2 skin trading, skin betting, or case opening outside of the game.

In one recent instance, Mnmzzz said a tournament organiser hosting its grand finals in early October was told to remove all skin-related sponsor ads after receiving an official email from Valve. Although the organiser wasn’t named, the situation marks one of the first visible cases of Valve directly enforcing these rules.

PSA to TOs: I have heard from various sources in the space that Valve have greatly stepped up enforcement of their Licensee Obligations, especially their “IP Protection” clause.

While it was always there on paper, Valve are now more willing than ever to sanction or revoke Ranked… pic.twitter.com/w4XmGYSTX0

— Mnmzzz – Jeff 🇺🇦 (@MnmzzzCS) October 10, 2025

Valve’s Stricter Oversight

According to Valve’s Licensing Agreement, organisers are prohibited from distributing sponsorship messages that violate the company’s intellectual property or the Steam Subscriber Agreement. This specifically includes third-party platforms tied to in-game skins or case systems, sites that have long existed in a legal grey area within the Counter-Strike ecosystem.

Organisers must also maintain transparency in prize distribution, sponsorship deals, and overall financial activity, providing detailed reports to Valve when requested. The company’s renewed focus on financial accountability and IP integrity indicates that the VRS system is becoming more tightly controlled than ever before.

A TO who had their grand finals this Sunday (not a long list to narrow down) had to pull all of their skin site ads due to an email from Valve.

— Mnmzzz – Jeff 🇺🇦 (@MnmzzzCS) October 11, 2025

Mixed Community Reactions

The change has stirred a range of opinions within the CS2 community. Some fans view the stricter approach as a positive step toward protecting the game’s reputation and distancing it from unregulated third-party sites. Others worry that removing such sponsors could harm smaller organisers who rely heavily on that funding.

One fan on X commented, “The ugly truth is that the massive money from these sites pays for the scene. I really hope this doesn’t hurt the scene.” Another user, praised the move, saying, “Absolute W considering some of those sites clearly breach gambling and AML regulations.”

What It Means for Future Events

At the moment, the enforcement mainly affects tournament organisers under the VRS licence rather than teams themselves. However, Mnmzzz noted that this could change if Valve decide to extend similar oversight to Major events or directly to team sponsorships in the future.

With sponsors like SkinRave, Hellcase, Daddyskins, etc now explicitly banned under the tightened guidelines, organisers will need to find new partners that align with Valve’s compliance standards. It’s a clear signal that the company want CS2’s esports scene to move toward greater transparency and legitimacy.

Whether this shift strengthens the scene or creates new challenges for event organisers remains to be seen, but it’s evident that Valve are taking their IP protection policies more seriously than ever.

ESL Pro League Season 22 has reached its playoff phase, with eight of the world’s best teams gearing up for a weekend packed with high-stakes clashes and potential upsets.

After two weeks of gruelling Swiss-stage battles, only eight teams remain: Team Spirit, FaZe Clan, 3DMAX, Natus Vincere (NAVI), MOUZ, Team Vitality, Team Falcons, and FURIA. Each squad has fought through a series of tough matchups to earn a shot at the prestigious Pro League title, and a step closer to the multi-million-dollar ESL Grand Slam.

A Stacked Playoff Line-Up

Six of the top ten teams from October’s Valve Regional Standings have made it through, setting up a star-studded bracket. Team Spirit enters as the top seed after an unbeaten run through Stage 2, dominating Inner Circle Esports, HOTU, and G2 Esports to secure a flawless 3-0 record.

FaZe Clan’s playoff return is another storyline to watch. With Håvard ‘rain’ Nygaard back for his final run, FaZe survived a rocky start that included a forfeit to G2 and a loss to 3DMAX before turning it around with three straight wins. Their latest victory against Aurora Gaming sealed their spot in the bracket, and possibly one last dance for rain.

3DMAX, meanwhile, continues to wave the French Counter-Strike flag proudly. Despite dropping games to FURIA and FaZe, they bounced back to earn a top-eight finish, a sign of strong momentum heading into future events like the CS Asia Championship and the StarLadder Budapest Major.

NAVI, always a fan favourite, took the longest route to qualify, enduring two early defeats before finding their rhythm with wins over HOTU and The MongolZ. They’ll face MOUZ in the quarter-finals, a rematch from earlier this year that promises fireworks.

MOUZ, the model of consistency, secured their place after sweeping GamerLegion, Gentle Mates, and 3DMAX. Despite not lifting a trophy since PGL Cluj-Napoca in February, their form suggests they could finally break the drought.

Team Vitality will look to defend their Season 21 title after recovering from a shaky start against Gentle Mates. Since then, the French side has shown championship form, sweeping through their next three series.

Team Falcons, still chasing their first trophy in six months, will face 3DMAX in the playoff opener. The duo of Ilya ‘m0NESY’ Osipov and Maxim ‘kyousuke’ Lukin is beginning to click, making Falcons one of the dark horses to watch.

Finally, there’s FURIA. The Brazilian powerhouse enters on a high after winning the FISSURE Playground 2 tournament. Their new international lineup is firing on all cylinders, and their matchup against reigning champions Vitality might be the most explosive of the opening round.
(You can read more about FURIA’s recent success in our feature: FURIA Finally Lift First Big Event Trophy at FISSURE Playground 2)

ESL Pro League Season 22 Playoff Schedule

The ESL Pro League S22 Playoffs kick off on Friday, 10 October 2025, with all matches broadcast live on ESL’s official Twitch and YouTube channels.

ESL Pro League Season 22 has seen some major last-minute roster shake-ups, with two teams pulling out under very different circumstances and their spots quickly being filled.

Chinese side Lynn Vision were forced to withdraw after being unable to field a complete roster, opening the door for Spanish organisation Gentle Mates to step in. Meanwhile, Virtus.pro’s campaign came to an abrupt halt after three of their players were turned away at the Swedish border, paving the way for ENCE to join the tournament instead.

Gentle Mates replace Lynn Vision

ESL confirmed that Lynn Vision would not be attending Pro League, citing their inability to bring a full line-up. Gentle Mates, who were next in line under ESL’s “last-minute replacements” rule, accepted the invitation.

Unfortunately @Lynnvision_ are unable to field a complete roster at #ESLProLeague Season 22. Due to their ineligibility and a short replacement window, Lynn Vision will be replaced by @gentlemates who were the next eligible team to accept the invite per our rules stating:

The choice came after several other European teams were ruled out. Ninjas in Pyjamas, SAW and BetBoom were ineligible for declining earlier qualifier invites, while fnatic were asked first but declined the replacement slot.

The sudden call-up comes at a difficult time for Gentle Mates, who were competing at the Birch Cup in Gdańsk, Poland. With the Pro League kicking off in Sweden on the same weekend, the squad had to make the tough decision to withdraw from Birch.

Head coach Eloy “deLonge” Suárez expressed frustration with the scheduling clash, taking to X to criticise Birch organisers for refusing to allow a replacement team at their event. “No team should be penalised for getting invited to a higher-tier event that represents a huge opportunity in their professional growth,” he said.

Virtus.pro denied entry, ENCE take their place

Later the same day, Virtus.pro also had to withdraw, this time under far more dramatic circumstances. The Russian squad revealed that three of their players were denied entry into Sweden after border officials flagged their medical insurance as insufficient. Although the organisation scrambled to arrange new policies, their visas were revoked before they could resolve the issue.

Unfortunately @virtuspro are unable to field a complete roster at #ESLProLeague Season 22. Due to their ineligibility and a short replacement window, VP will be replaced by @ENCE who were the next eligible team to accept the invite per our rules stating:

This setback is a huge blow for Virtus.pro’s hopes of securing a spot at the upcoming StarLadder Budapest Major. They are currently projected to sit 15th out of 16 possible European qualifying spots, with several rivals still in contention to overtake them.

Their slot at Pro League has now gone to ENCE, who were competing at the Birch Cup alongside Gentle Mates. Just like the Spanish squad, ENCE are now expected to abandon their Polish campaign in order to make it to Sweden in time for their opening match against M80.

A chaotic lead-up to Pro League

The back-to-back withdrawals highlight the unpredictable nature of international esports competition, where scheduling conflicts and travel logistics can turn into major roadblocks.

For Gentle Mates and ENCE, however, the replacements are a golden opportunity to showcase themselves on one of Counter-Strike’s biggest stages. With Pro League matches starting this Sunday, both squads face a quick turnaround to prepare.

How they handle the sudden shift could have a huge impact not only on their Pro League campaigns but also on their chances of making it to the Budapest Major.

Prize Pool and Rewards

The distribution for FISSURE Playground 3 is one of the most detailed seen in recent events. Here’s the breakdown:

Beyond the prize money, FISSURE is also covering $350,000 worth of hospitality, including flights, hotels, daily meals, practice rooms, and transfers for all participating teams.

Format and Qualification

The Main Event will feature 16 teams:

The structure is set as follows:

Groups: Two double-elimination GSL groups of eight teams each.

The path to the main stage will run through regional open qualifiers:

One team from the China Open Qualifier.

One team from the Oceanic Open Qualifier.

One team from the Asia Open Qualifier.
These winners move into the Asia Closed Qualifier, which also includes the top five Asia VRS teams. Only one team from this stage will advance to Shenzhen.

Why Shenzhen Matters

Known as the Silicon Valley of China, Shenzhen has never hosted an S-tier Counter-Strike event before. With international teams flying in and such a large investment into hospitality and prize incentives, Playground 3 is set to be a milestone for both the city and the global esports calendar.

After FURIA’s historic victory at Playground 2, all eyes will now shift to Shenzhen in April 2026 to see who can rise above the world’s best and claim the lion’s share of the $1.5 million prize pool.

Parivision have raised concerns over the latest Valve Regional Standings (VRS) update after finding themselves ranked 35th instead of what they believe should be closer to 25th. The CS2 team argue that the September 1 rankings failed to include their results from the ESL Challenger League Season 50 Europe Cup 1, which wrapped up the very same day.

Official statement from PARIVISION regarding the VRS ranking pic.twitter.com/ee3WJaz3G9

— PARIVISION (@parivisiongg) September 2, 2025

In an official statement, Parivision pointed out that HLTV’s own calculations, which included the ESL Challenger Cup results, placed them around 25th. For the team, this difference is not just a matter of pride. Rankings directly affect invitations to upcoming events and could play a massive role in shaping their season.

Valve’s System and the Timing Issue

Valve update the Regional Standings on the first Monday of every month, a rule that has been consistent for years. Because the ESL Challenger League finals ended on September 1, the exact day of the update, those results simply did not make the cut. Analyst Graham Pitt noted on Twitter that any tournament not completed by the time of the update will not be counted until the next cycle.

Any events that aren’t finished at the time of the update are not included. Valve updated at approximately the same time they do every month so there isn’t anything out of the ordinary here.

TO’s really shouldn’t plan events to end on the Monday of the update.

— Graham Pitt (@messioso) September 2, 2025

This has sparked debate in the CS2 community. Some see it as unfortunate timing, while others argue the real fault lies with ESL for stretching out the tournament. The ESL Challenger League had a long gap between matches from August 16 to August 26, which ultimately pushed the finals into the Monday update window. Reddit users pointed out that if ESL had scheduled more consistently, the event could have wrapped up in time for the standings.

What Parivision Could Miss Out On

The biggest talking point is what Parivision stand to lose because of this technicality. Sitting at 25th rather than 35th would have put them in contention for an invite to PGL Masters Bucharest 2025, a key event running from 24 October to 2 November. The tournament is part of the global Counter-Strike calendar with a stacked prize pool of $1.25 million split between players and organisations.

With many top-tier teams already locked into other events like the CS Asia Championships in Shanghai and IEM Chengdu, there was a realistic chance that Parivision could have secured an invite if they had been ranked higher in September’s VRS. Instead, their current 35th place leaves them outside of the invite window, forcing them to rely on future updates or declined invites from bigger organisations.

Image via HLTV.org

Community Reactions

Reactions online have been mixed. Some fans sympathise with Parivision’s frustration, saying that the standings should reflect the most up-to-date results possible. Others argue that Valve’s system has always been clear and consistent, and that the blame lies with ESL for dragging the tournament past the cut-off.

One Reddit user summed it up by saying, “That’s what happens when a tournament decides to have its last games on a Monday. Not a great situation, but no way around it.” Another added that the real complaint should be with ESL for poor scheduling, not with Valve.

Looking Ahead

For now, Parivision will remain at 35th in the Valve Regional Standings until the October update, when the ESL Challenger League results are expected to be included. Whether that will be enough to secure invitations to future events such as PGL Masters Bucharest 2025 is still uncertain.

The situation highlights just how influential the VRS system is for CS2 teams, especially those outside the top tier. A difference of ten places can be the difference between competing on one of Counter-Strike’s biggest stages or watching from the sidelines.

Oleksandr “s1mple” Kostyliev’s highly-anticipated return to top-level Counter-Strike has been nothing short of a rollercoaster. The CS:GO legend, now testing his skills in CS2 with BC.Game, made it all the way to the Grand Final of Exort The Proving Grounds Season 3. But despite flashes of brilliance, his debut tournament ended in a double-overtime defeat to BetBoom Team.

A mixed start with BC.Game

S1mple’s run with BC.Game had its ups and downs right from the opening match. He started slow against CYBERSHOKE, finishing at the bottom of the leaderboard, though the team managed a reverse-sweep to stay alive. From there, his form spiked and dipped: a huge 1.53 rating carried them past Spirit Academy, before a nightmare performance against Partizan saw BC.Game pushed to the edge.

When it mattered most, though, s1mple showed up. Wins over ARCRED, ENCE, and another clean sweep against Spirit Academy put him firmly back on top of the scoreboards. His quarterfinal against Spirit Academy was vintage s1mple, posting a massive 1.71 rating. That form continued into the semis, where BC.Game swept OG 2–0 to punch their ticket to the Grand Final.

Image via HLTV.org

Familiar faces in the Grand Final

The final itself carried extra weight. On the other side of the server was BetBoom, led by Kirill “Boombl4” Mikhaylov, s1mple’s former NAVI teammate. Their recent history wasn’t pretty either, BC.Game had already been knocked down by BetBoom in the ESL Challenger League qualifiers earlier this month.

BetBoom came out swinging on Mirage, BC.Game’s pick, locking it down 13–4. S1mple still managed a respectable 94.5 ADR and a 1.12 rating, but it wasn’t enough to stop the bleed.

The real drama came on Nuke. Both teams refused to budge in regulation, trading rounds until the game pushed to double overtime. S1mple produced some classic highlight moments to keep BC.Game in the fight, but BetBoom finally closed it out 19–16, taking the series 2–0.

Image via HLTV.org

Numbers behind the story

Despite the loss, s1mple still put up the highest rating on his team across the final (1.17 with a +2 K-D). He also led the entire server in opening duels with a ridiculous 13–2 record, showing that even after a long break, his impact is still undeniable.

Across the whole event, s1mple finished with a 1.22 rating over 17 maps, more than any other player in the top seven of the tournament rankings. That workload, paired with HLTV’s new 3.0 ranking system, makes his numbers harder to judge, but it’s clear he was a driving force behind BC.Game’s Grand Final run.

The best individual on the day, though, was BetBoom’s Kirill “Magnojez” Rodnov, who dropped 53 kills and 32 deaths in the final with a monstrous 1.55 rating.

What’s next?

BC.Game won’t have long to dwell on the loss. The squad is still grinding through qualifiers for ESL Challenger League Season 50, where they’ll clash with OG on 26 August at 19:00 CEST. And with s1mple already making his mark in his very first event, fans will be eager to see whether the GOAT can settle in and return to his dominant best.

From Complexity to Passion UA

This comes right after Complexity stepped away from Counter-Strike, citing tough economic times. With the organisation exiting, its players and staff were free to find a new home, and Passion UA snapped them up.

The move also reunites the quartet with their long-time coach, Tiaan “T.c” Coertzen. The South African tactician had been with Complexity for over three years, and worked with JT for more than eight. He joined Passion UA back in April, and now finds himself once again calling the shots for the players he knows inside out.

Kvem Holds His Spot

Kvem, who was part of Passion UA’s old roster, stays on as the final piece of the puzzle. He replaces Danny “Cxzi” Strzelczyk, who was released during the reshuffle.

Before this announcement, Passion UA had gone through heavy roster changes, parting ways with Woro2k and Topa while benching jackasmo and DemQQ. The fresh line-up looks much more stable and experienced, with proven synergy from the former Complexity squad.

Upcoming Battles

Passion UA won’t be waiting long before stepping onto the server. The new roster inherits Complexity’s VRS ranking and tournament invites, meaning they’re already locked in for several big events, including:

DraculaN Season 1 – starting August 29

StarLadder StarSeries Fall 2025 (Europe)

Fragadelphia Blocktober

StarLadder Budapest Major in November

Even though the team has a split between European and American players, they’ll still be competing in the Americas division due to the updated VRS regional rules.

What It Means

For Passion UA, this marks a massive step forward. They’ve not only gained stability with an experienced core, but also inherited invites to top-tier tournaments that immediately put them on the international stage. For fans, it’s a chance to see a familiar line-up reborn under a new banner – one that’s ready to prove itself all over again.

The new Passion UA roster is:

Johnny “JT” Theodosiou

Michael “Grim” Wince

Håkon “hallzerk” Fjærli

Nick “nicx” Lee

Vladyslav “Kvem” Korol

Coach: 🇿🇦 Tiaan “T.c” Coertzen

With some big events on the horizon, Passion UA are set to write their next chapter, and if their tweet is anything to go by, they’re aiming for victories right out of the gate.
