The Nacelle Company, the studio behind Netflix’s The Toys That Made Us, The Movies That Made Us, A Toy Store Near You, and Behind The Attraction on Disney+ have just announced the first wave of Robo Force 7.5 inch collectible action figures are available to pre-order.

After spending the last year acquiring nostalgic IPs like The Great Garloo, Power Lords, Big Loo and the legendary Marx Toys brand, Nacelle is kicking off their first wave of Robo Force action figures with highly detailed and fully articulated versions of Maxx Steele and Wrecker.

In 2021, Nacelle Company announced its acquisition of the beloved 80s franchise, Robo Force, with plans to reintroduce the characters through a television series, books and other lifestyle products. Now, less than a year later, the company is revealing the first images of the Robo Force action figure line created by renowned toy designer, David Vonner. Painstaking detail was used to make sure that Robo Force’s rich history should be taken seriously, yet updated with modern aesthetics meant to broaden the audience.

Robo Force’s Maxx Steele and Wrecker return as part of Nacelle’s Very Important Toy Line of 7.5-inch scale figures. These deluxe, fully articulated, 7.5” figures feature beautiful package art, alongside its own collector friendly window box.

Maxx Steele was destined to be the latest and greatest in law enforcement (he was literally built to do it), but on the day before his first patrol, the UTOPIA101 line was revealed to the world. Maxx Steele was quietly reassigned to the traffic beat. Despite his best efforts to conform, Maxx Steele’s passion for crime fighting, along with a growing distrust of the UTOPIA line, leads Maxx down a path into other, unauthorized, lines of police work. This will create problems. A LOT of problems.

Wrecker was built to be the jack-of-all-trades for the ROBO FORCE line; he has a tool for every occasion. Sadly, due to the rise of the UTOPIA101 line, those occasions never occurred. Reassigned to use his staggering strength and empathy codex to do the most mundane jobs in the basement of Police Rhombus HQ, Wrecker eventually teams up with Maxx Steele to help protect the innocent, and keep an eye on the increasingly erratic UTOPIA Force (as well as Hun-Dred and his evil minions).

Nacelle Company’s Robo Force revival proves that nostalgic public interest in the franchise is higher than it’s ever been and this is the perfect time to reintroduce Robo Force to a new generation of fans and collectors.

“Of all the IP’s we’ve been buying, we wanted to launch our toy division with Robo Force because not only are they fun and iconic, but due to them being crushed at Toy Fair in 1984 by another line of charismatic transforming robots, we wanted to give them their due with a reimagined storyline and high end redesigns. But don’t despair lovers of the 80’s version, our new figures will of course have the infamous suction cups, but these will be attached to something the originals never had; legs!” said Nacelle Company Founder and CEO, Brian Volk-Weiss.

The pre-sale for Wave Two, which will include Hun-Dred and SOTA will be announced later in the year.

From the widely acclaimed 2017 horror film “IT” comes a Nendoroid of Pennywise the Dancing Clown. Even in adorable Nendoroid style, Pennywise’s ominous appearance from the film has been carefully preserved. The figure comes with two interchangeable face plates: a face with blue eyes from the film’s first scene when Pennywise appears in the storm drain and an attacking face.

From 1962 to 1970, The Beatles released 22 UK singles; of those 44 A and B-side tracks, 29 were not included on the group’s British albums at that time.

These singles, plus an exclusive new double A-side single for the mid-1990s-issued tracks “Free As A Bird” and “Real Love,” are newly cut for vinyl from their original mono and stereo master tapes by Sean Magee at Abbey Road Studios for a new limited edition boxed set.

The Beatles: The Singles Collection presents 46 tracks on 23 180-gram seven-inch vinyl singles in faithfully reproduced international picture sleeves, accompanied by a 40-page booklet with photos, ephemera, and detailed essays by Beatles historian Kevin Howlett.

The Singles Collection offers a fascinating view of the creative trajectory of The Beatles’ John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, and Ringo Starr across their relatively brief recording tenure together. Just three and a half years divide 1963’s “She Loves You” and 1967’s “Strawberry Fields Forever,” a remarkable, illustrative example of the band’s rapid, ground-breaking evolution. From the band’s star-making 1962 debut single, “Love Me Do” with its B-side “P.S. I Love You,” to their 1970 finale of “Let It Be” / “You Know My Name (Look Up The Number),” the new collection underscores The Beatles’ breath-taking creative arc.

Because it was rare in the 1960s for UK singles to be released in picture sleeves, the collection’s seven-inches are presented in reproduced picture sleeves from their original releases in several countries around the world, including Argentina, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Chile, Denmark, France, Greece, Holland, Israel, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Norway, Portugal, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Turkey, UK, USA, and West Germany.

The Singles Collection follows the September 27th 2019 release of The Beatles’ Abbey Road album in a suite of Anniversary Edition packages. The acclaimed new edition’s Super Deluxe set features new stereo, 5.1 surround, and Dolby Atmos mixes by producer Giles Martin and mix engineer Sam Okell, plus 23 session and demo recordings, most of which were previously unreleased. Abbey Road’s Anniversary Edition releases returned the iconic album to the top of charts around the world.

In the UK, Abbey Road reclaimed the No. 1 position on the official albums chart after 49 years and 252 days, breaking The Beatles’ own Guinness World Record previously held by Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band, which revisited the chart’s No. 1 spot in June 2017 with its celebrated Anniversary Edition after 49 years and 125 days.

We at Pop Stop love our Sideshow collectibles and are proudly reviewing the Alien Queen Maquette (video review above) which has been created in partnership with Legacy Effects, the talent behind the cinematic terror of the Xenomorphs.

The Alien Queen Maquette stands 19″ tall, with the monstrous matriarch prowling atop an intricate egg chamber base. The nightmarish Xenomorph brood beneath her feet features an elaborate array of Alien Eggs, Facehuggers, and two Alien Warriors all in standing scale with their Queen.
This immensely detailed polystone maquette captures the terror and unforgettable presence of the Alien Queen as seen in the film Aliens.

The massive Xenomorph’s body is sculpted in the same biomechanical style for which H.R. Giger’s creatures are famous, with sinewy limbs and a segmented PVC tail curling protectively around her hellish offspring. Pointed polyresin fangs reveal the creature’s iconic inner jaw, while her flared head crown gives the Alien Queen incredible stature on any shelf.

When I saw Lord Of The Rings in theatres for the first time, the Mines of Moria sequence was one I was looking forward to the most… all because of the vivid image I had in my mind of The Balrog from reading the books. Weta did not disappoint! 

This hand-painted bust, sculpted by artists who worked on the Lord of the Rings films and measures over 19 inches tall and is limited to only 666 pieces worldwide. What makes this bust special is that it comes with unique LED lighting to re-create the flames in The Balrog.

This has to be one of the most impressive statues I have ever seen.

The Kryptonian destroyer is most famous for killing Superman in the death of Superman Graphic Novel, he stands a monstrous 69cms tall. 

Sideshow’s Doomsday Maquette, will spell certain doom to the heroes of the DC universe. Has the Justice League finally met their match? 

Doomsday stands astride a rubble environment base littered with relics from the valiant heroes who have fallen in his wake. Wonder Woman’s sword, Aquaman’s trident, and Batman’s cowl all serve as trophies at Doomsday’s feet while a number of Batarangs are embedded into his chest and shoulders. In his right hand he clutches the fabric tatters of Superman’s cape, which includes internal wiring for posing and can be removed from the figure.

On his left hand, the villain has forced an inert Green Lantern ring onto his finger in a brutal display of force.

While the Alien vs Predator movies weren’t great they did give us some awesome new characters.

One of the best is the Wolf Predator.

In Aliens vs. Predator: Requiem. Wolf Predator, has responded to a distress signal and travelled to Earth with a plan to kill all Aliens. As the elite member of the Predator, he has proven himself as a daunting warrior and dreadful hunter with a large collection of trophies from many different species and a large arsenal of weapons! He has remained one of the most popular warriors in Alien vs. Predator series among fans.
